You're looking for a hero
But it's just my old tattoo
Tonight I swear I'd sell my soul
To be a hero for you
"Superman Tonight" - Bon Jovi

:bulletblack: :bulletwhite: :bulletblack: About
I'm very pleased with this. The background was more blending than I've done in a longggg time. I love the mane/tail on this piece...I keep switching techniques depending on what works D: thus why I cannot do a hair tutorial yet. But I really love parti-color manes/tails they're so much fun! I learned a lot doing this image and it's nice to see that I still can learn stuff. I did a lot of subtle painting but it did make a difference.

The horse I wanted to be like a lone hero sort. He's a bit too late to catch the one he loves...he's just not quite a hero yet. Thus the reason I chose that line from Superman Tonight. He wants to be her hero, but he can't be so she left him...and he sees an eagle xD The eagle was random but I thought it tied everything together and eagles/paints just seem like a mountain setting to me.
